Diwali the festival of light: It is celebrated in October or November each year. Our custom- made tour gives the clients the opportunity to dress up in traditional clothes and visit the home of an Indian family to Celebrate the festival like the locals, enjoy the homemade sweets and dishes and above all understand its religious significance.
Pushkar Camel Fair: Is held every year around the full moon during the Hindu lunar month, which usually falls in November. A huge carnival is held, with an array of temple dancing, folk and fusion music concerts, spiritual and heritage walks, adventure zone, Food Stalls, and an arts and crafts bazaar as well. With limited accommodation during the fair we book the luxury tents and hotels well ahead of time and depending on where you wish to stay we allocate the rooms. Every group is accompanied by local guides to make you feel at home even in a huge crowd.
Holi the festival of colour: That celebrates the triumph of good over evil, good harvest, and fertility. It usually falls in the latter part of February or March. We organise dress for the group which is pure white to wear for the colour festival. The morning after breakfast around 9 AM we start towards a local house where you will play Holi with locals and family members for an incredible experience. Return to hotel by lunch and relax for a couple of hours before we join for evening cultural ceremony followed by dinner at our organized venue.
Onam in Kerala: Onam, a harvest festival that falls in the months of August/September annually. Clients who want to join the Onam festival, celebrate with local families to experience the Rituals of Onam, wear traditional clothes, participate in dance performances, draw flower rangolis and assist in cooking traditional feasts called sadya. Later clients enjoy the meal served on banana leaves. There are other cultural activities which the clients can witness like the boat races, Tiger dances, women’s dance ritual, Mask dance folk songs among other fun activities.
